Lake George

While in Cedar, MN you will want to enjoy all the amenities at Lake George.  There are 7 picnic pavilions and various hiking trails.  You can hike into the surrounding woodlands, through the lake areas, and around the wetland areas.  There are day camps offered through the local YMCA.

Lake George offers three nice beach areas.  The Centerville beach area has a playground and volleyball courts.  The Coon Lake beach area has a playground.  The Lake George beach area offers a playground and volleyball courts.  

If you are interested in a place to go rollerblading or bicycling there are miles of paved trails for you to enjoy.

Many people visit Lake George for a place to go fishing.  The Lake has a long history as a great place to catch Largemouth Bass because of good water quality and plenty of cover. Fishermen also report good luck with sunfish, and Northern Pike.
