Historic Pierre Bottineau House

This is a restored 1854 wood-framed house built by Pierre Bottineau. It has been made into a museum of his life.  If you are an American History buff, this place just can’t be missed.  Bottineau was an explorer and hunter/trapper, and a guide for the famous Hudson’s Bay Company.  Due to having a French-Huguenot father and an Ojibwe mother, and due to all his traveling, he spoke 7 languages. Central Park and Brianna Scurry Park

This area is a great place for kids to visit – it has soccer fields, ball fields, a skating rink and best of all, plenty of open mowed grass.  

Cloquet Overlook Park

This park is great for kids and adults alike – plenty of walking trails, picnic areas with grills, playground equipment and views of the Mississippi River.

Wildwood Springs Park

Along with the usual park amenities, Wildwood Springs also has a 9 hole disc golf course for those of you who enjoy your frisbees.
