Ham Lake Park is the perfect place to escape the stresses of life and take in its simple beauty. It was originally established in 1961 as Green Acres Park, and since then, the park has been transformed into a great outdoor facility. The landscape of the park consists of woods, rolling hills, and open fields. There are plenty of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, as well as canoeing and kayaking on the lake. The lake has a sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing and is a great spot for catching bass, northern pike, and other fish. The park also boasts several gardens and conservation areas, including an orchid garden and prairie grassland.
