Champlin, MN is a suburban neighborhood about 20 miles north of Minneapolis.  The city of known for its abundance of parks.   Let’s look at just two of them. Andover, MN  can be seen here.

Andrews Park

Andrews Park on 117th Avenue is a huge Champlin park.  It offers all kinds of different things to do for all kinds of sports lovers, and for the kids. There are four softball fields, and one baseball field.  For soccer fans there are three fields used both for soccer and for football.  If you feel like pretending to have a day at the beach, try out the sand volleyball court.  You can also check out the four tennis courts.  

You don’t have to put away your active life for the winter months.  Andrews Park offers two permanent hockey rinks and one free-skating area.  Don’t forget to check out all the different hiking trails. Click here to read about Adover, MN.

Brittany Park

Brittany Park isn’t as large as Andrews Park but still offers plenty of places to play.  There are trails galore, and a play area with modular equipment for the children.  There is also a permanent hockey rink and one free-skating area.  You will find two ball fields, and one thing that Andrews doesn’t have:  a basketball court.
